Margaret Peterson
Founder & Operator
I've spent over a decade running the operational side of events, campaigns, and creative productions, from national tradeshows and conference logistics to global integrated campaigns at some of the country's top agencies. Run of House is how I take that experience independent.
I'm a process savant and an optimist at heart. I build the systems and I believe in the people inside them. I thrive in complexity, moving parts, and high stakes. I manage up to the C-suite and down to day-of staff with the same clarity and care, asking the right questions before problems surface, and knowing when to hold a process tight and when to bend it without losing the thread.

I'm a natural mediator. Someone who can hold tension between competing needs, find the path forward, and deliver outcomes that exceed expectations. I've always believed you don't have to choose between harmony and excellence. I seek both, every time.
I believe experiences begin long before you walk in the door and linger long after the lights go down. Every detail matters. Not because perfection is the goal, but because people feel the difference even when they can't name it.

Beyond the Work
I believe in doing things with your whole self. I come from a family where I learned early that someone has to hold the vision, keep the peace, and make sure everyone feels seen and I never really stopped.

I live in the Kansas City suburbs with my husband and two golden retrievers, and I move through life curiously. Always writing and painting something, dreaming up a new brand or idea, planning a trip, or finding a restaurant worth the drive. I read physical books and magazines in a world of screens. I pick up fresh flowers every week, keep a running list of everything worth remembering, and snap photos everywhere. My mind doesn't really have an off switch, in the best way possible.
